Jamal Hairane of Qatar won the men's invitational 1,500-meter race in 3:46.17 at the 41st San Diego State Aztec Track and Field Invitational. Hairane and his fellow countrymen led a sweep of the top four spots. He also took second in the 800 in 1:47.65, contributing to his countrymen sweeping the top six places.
